Galway Techno Teachers Association host Festool Demonstration
As part of their Continuing Professional Education, members of Galway Techno Teachers Association in Conjunction with Festool U.K. took part in a demonstration and workshop of the latest Festool products including the Festool Routers and Domino Jointer. All Teachers there could try out the products , of particular interest were the new high torque drills and new Domino
Also on the evening, Noel from ‘The Carpentry Store’ gave a demonstration and workshop on sharpening chisels using the latest sharpening systems, of particular interest in this workshop, you could bring your own gouge and Noel demonstrated how to grind back the angle to stop the gouge from getting caught while turning.
The workshops and demonstrations were hosted by Galway Techno Teachers in St. Mary’s College, Ballygar County Galway as it was considered central in the country to cover a wide range of counties. All who participated found the demonstrations useful and informative. Michael from Festool Ireland has agreed to repeat the demonstration with other branches of The Techno Teachers Association.
